KERNERSVILLE -- Mr. Robert Roy Henderson, 29, of 120 Nelson Street, died Saturday at his home. He was born in Forsyth County, the son of James W. and Lucy Elizabeth Melton Henderson. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and assistant produce manager at Food Fair Stores. Survived are his wife, Mrs. Robin Marshall Henderson, of the home; one son, Joshua Brandon Henderson; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Henderson, Winston-Salem; three sisters, Mrs. Cookie Snow, Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Dixie Cox and Mrs. Polly Lewis, both of Winston-Salem; four brothers, Duck Henderson, Tim Henderson, both of Kernersville, Pete Henderson, Middlesex, and Butch Henderson, of Durham. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hillcrest Baptist Church by the Rev. Richard Thomas. Burial will be in the Eastlawn Gardens of Memory cemetery. The family will be at the Pierce Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and requests that memorials be made to the Hillcrest Baptist Church, McNeil Road, Kernersville, N.C. 27284.
